Introduction of open source

Hello!!! This is a site teaching any interest person abt saving cost on IT Sector and web programming. I have on IT field around two year. This two year, i already deploy a lot of cost saving IT project for company since our company don't have huge capital to invest high end technology infrastructure. Nowdays there is a lot of opensource project and free source code on the net. Everyone of us can easily get the coding or install the opensource application freely. meanwhile, any of us can free change the source code if we got time... HEHE What is opensource software ?? software whose source code is published and made available to the public, enabling anyone to copy, modify and redistribute the source code without paying royalties or fees. Open source code evolves through community cooperation. These communities are composed of individual programmers as well as very large companies. Some examples of open source initiatives are Linux, Eclipse, Apache, Tomcat web server, Mozilla, and various projects hosted on SourceForge.
